I'm going to post-date this in the hope that it will pop up magically in about a week's time. This seemed such a fabulous description ot writing and the writer's life it was like looking in a mirror.
"Because you can never take a break from yourself". How apt this line is. My mind never seems to rest. Whether this is translated onto paper is another story ...
I agree with both of you about how apt this is. I am always trying to bookmark my creative thoughts so I do not neglect work, which means I often misplace the thoughts.
In about a weeks time I'm going to post a write up of a book I'm currently reading,"The Scent Trail". It has really got me thinking about how evocative scents can be, my special favourite while I'm writing being sandlewood (I was dismayed to read that the sandlwood tree is dying out).
